Welcome to Feng Yan Lab

The Feng Yan Lab focuses on the electronic materials and devices, including the photovoltaics, ferroelectrics, transparent conductor and photoelectrochemical devices. We explore and develop new materials with desired physical and chemical properties using vapor deposition with help of theory design, such as thin film solar cells. With a series of characterization techniques, the relationship between materials microstructure and devices performance was established. These materials and devices can be utilized to harvest, convert and store renewable energy with application as solar cells and batteries.
